Analysis of GM-CSF (Human) by MSD Hypersensitive Multi-Factor Electrochemiluminescence Analyzer (CAT#: STEM-MB-0226-LGZ)

Introduction

Granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF), also known as colony-stimulating factor 2 (CSF2), is a monomeric glycoprotein secreted by macrophages, T cells, mast cells, natural killer cells, endothelial cells and fibroblasts, which function as a cytokine. Unlike granulocyte colony-stimulating factor, which specifically promotes the proliferation and maturation of neutrophils, GM-CSF affects many more cell types, especially macrophages and eosinophils.

Principle

Detection Technique: MSD Hypersensitive Multi-Factor Electrochemiluminescence
Capture Antibody: Mouse Monoclonal
Detection Antibody: Rat Monoclonal
Recombinant Standards: Expressed in E. coli

Applications

Cytokines & Chemokines, Immunology/Inflammation

Procedure

1. Coat the capture antibody on the well plate.
2. Add samples/calibrators.
3. Add detection antibody.
4. Read the plate and analyze the data.

Materials

• Sample Type: Serum, Plasma, Urine, Cell Culture Supernatant
