CD25, also known as IL-2Rα, is a cell-activating antigen found in activated T lymphocytes, activated B lymphocytes, and activated monocytes/macrophages. Stimulated by IL-2, CD25 can cause the activation and proliferation of T lymphocytes, thymus cells, NK cells, B lymphocytes, and monocytes/macrophages.
