It can activate a Hsp68 promoter coupled to a LacZ reporter gene in embryonic branchial arch, dorsal root ganglion, ear, heart, hindbrain, limb and other tissues of transgenic mice. A subregion marked by the H3K4me1 histone modification was also shown to be an active enhancer by ChIP-STARR-seq in naive human embryonic stem cells.

Principle

Quantitative reverse transcription PCR (RT-qPCR) is an experimental method applied to PCR experiments using RNA as the starting material. In this method, total or messenger RNA (mRNA) is first transcribed into complementary DNA (cDNA) by reverse transcriptase. Subsequently, qPCR reaction was performed using cDNA as template.
