Analysis of Osteopontin (Human) by MSD Hypersensitive Multi-Factor Electrochemiluminescence Analyzer (CAT#: STEM-MB-0472-LGZ)

Introduction

Osteopontin (OPN) is a glycosylated protein widely present in the extracellular matrix. It was initially thought that OPN is an important bone matrix protein, which is closely related to the formation and development of bone. Studies have shown that the activity of osteopontin (OPN active protein) can directly reach the intestinal tract, enhance the protective barrier function of the intestinal tract, realize systemic immune protection, and reduce 50% of biological functions such as fever and discomfort.

Principle

MSD electrochemiluminescence technology is mainly based on ultra-sensitive multi-factor electrochemiluminescence analyzer MES0 Sector600 or Quickplex SQ120. Through dot matrix technology, the detection of 10 indicators per well can be realized in the 96-hole graphite electrode plate. It can also be customized to realize the screening detection of 100 index wells in a 24-well plate.

Applications

Bone Disorders, Oncology & Cancer, Immunology/Inflammation

Procedure

1. Coat the capture antibody on the well plate.
2. Add samples/calibrators.
3. Add detection antibody.
4. Read the plate and analyze the data.

Materials

• Sample Type: Plasma, Serum
