Analysis of RANTES (Human) by MSD Hypersensitive Multi-Factor Electrochemiluminescence Analyzer (CAT#: STEM-MB-0519-LGZ)

Introduction

RANTES/CCL5 (regulated upon activation, expressed and secreted in T cells) is a member of the "C-C" or beta chemokine family that induces inflammation and has been implicated in a variety of inflammatory diseases. RANTES is primarily produced and secreted by CD8+ T cells, macrophages, platelets, epithelial cells, fibroblasts, and certain tumor cells. RANTES is a chemoattractant with additional regulatory functions on a variety of cell types including monocytes, memory T cells, natural killer cells, eosinophils, basophils, dendritic cells and mast cells.

Principle

MSD electrochemiluminescence technology is mainly based on ultra-sensitive multi-factor electrochemiluminescence analyzer MES0 Sector600 or Quickplex SQ120. Through dot matrix technology, the detection of 10 indicators per well can be realized in the 96-hole graphite electrode plate. It can also be customized to realize the screening detection of 100 index wells in a 24-well plate.

Applications

Immunology/Inflammation

Procedure

1. Coat the capture antibody on the well plate.
2. Add samples/calibrators.
3. Add detection antibody.
4. Read the plate and analyze the data.

Materials

• Sample Type: Plasma, Serum
