The Anti-Human CD52 mAb manufactured by Seafrom is suitable for the depletion of lymphocytes and modulation of immune responses in cell therapy. CD52 is a widely distributed antigen, belonging to a GPI-anchored glycoprotein with only twelve amino acid residues (GQNDTSQTSSPS). It is found on lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, and dendritic cells derived from monocytes in the hematopoietic system. On lymphocytes, the density of CD52 can be as high as 5 x 10^5 molecules. CD52 antigen is expressed to varying degrees on many malignant lymphoid cells and certain acute myeloid leukemia cells. When CD52 molecules are cross-linked by monoclonal antibodies, it triggers a series of signal transductions in target cells, influencing the life activities of these cells. The signal transduction induced by CD52 cross-linking is similar to the signal transduction pathway induced by anti-CD3 antibodies. When CD52 molecules are cross-linked, in vitro, PMA (Phorbol Myristate Acetate) can stimulate the proliferation and cytokine secretion of CD4+ and CD8+ T lymphocytes in normal individuals. Storage: Store at 2~8°C with a shelf life of 24 months. If needed for aliquoting, aliquots can be stored at -20°C for 6 months or at -80°C for 12 months, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
