EAF2000 EAF4 technology uniquely combines the principles of electrical flow and asymmetric flow FFF in one system. In the EAF2000 system, an electric field and a cross flow field are simultaneously applied on the FFF channel, so that separation can be performed by particle size and particle charge according to electrophoretic mobility. Combining these two powerful separation technologies on a single platform opens the door to the characterization of complex proteins, antibodies and viruses, and environments and charged nanoparticles or polymers that have proven difficult to handle with other technologies.
