Prototype Printing Services (CAT#: STEM-MB-0245-WXH)

Introduction

Plate coating, in the Life Sciences environment, relates to microplates, mostly 96-well, most usually as full-plate or 8-well strip plates. Coating means the immobilization of antigen, antibodies or any other compound on the well surface, for the purpose of a binding assay. It offers custom plate coating services to empower users with a rapid and convenient way to convert ELISAs or create multiplex immunoassays on highly sensitive electrochemiluminescence-based platform. Our Prototype Printing Services coat plates with materials of your choice (antibodies, proteins, peptides, carbohydrates, polysaccharides, or oligonucleotides).
Key Benefits:
Single-analyte and multiplex assay formats
Flexibility of coating a variety of capture materials
Manufactured under controlled conditions for ultimate reproducibility

Applications

Convert ELISAs or create multiplex immunoassays on highly sensitive electrochemiluminescence-based platform.

Procedure

There are some variations in plate coating protocols, but they typically involve the following steps:
1.Add coating solution (e.g. antibody or antigen)
2.Overnight incubation, normally at room temperature
3.Aspirate (suck-off coating solution)
4.Wash 3 times with washing buffer (step not mandatory for all coatings)
5.Dispense blocking solution
6.Incubate, typically 1-3 hrs
7.Aspirate (suck-off blocking solution).
