The Recombinant Human BCMA Protein manufactured by Seafrom is suitable for B-cell activation and antibody production. Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 17 (TNFRSF17), also known as B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA) and CD antigen CD269, is a member of the TNF receptor superfamily. TNFRSF17 contains a TNFR-Cys repeat sequence. TNFRSF17 is expressed in mature B cells but not in T cells or monocytes. It serves as the receptor for TNFSF13B/BLyS/BAFF and TNFSF13/APRIL. TNFRSF17 promotes B cell survival and plays a role in regulating humoral immunity. TNFRSF17 can activate NF-κB and JNK. The lyophilized product can be stored at 4°C for 24 months, and the reconstituted liquid can be stored at -20°C for 6-12 months, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
