Description

The JX-5 Thermal Desorption Analyzer is an automatic dual-stage (cold trap) thermal desorption instrument with a single sample position. It utilizes semiconductor cooling, with the cold trap temperature capable of reaching as low as -40°C (depending on ambient temperature). The injection valve system is motor-driven. It features three functions: standard sample simulation sampling, thermal desorption, and desorption tube activation. The enrichment, injection, and other processes are fully automated. It can be used in conjunction with domestic and imported gas chromatographs and is suitable for applications in environmental monitoring and other fields.

Features

Utilizes semiconductor refrigeration technology to save on operating costs.
Secondary desorption heating rate >70°C, reaching 450°C with peak width <3s.
All gas lines are constructed using passivated and polished 316 stainless steel, with sealing rings made of PTFE material, providing high temperature resistance and no volatile emissions.
Heating gas lines utilize imported high-inertia deactivation stainless steel, with PTFE sealing materials for high-temperature resistance and no volatile emissions.
Precision high-temperature resistant six-way valves are used in the heating valve box, with no dead volume and a maximum operating temperature of 240°C. The six-way valves are driven by motors, eliminating the need for external driving gas and ensuring ease of use. Integration of the heating valve box and heating gas line design reduces intermediate links, minimizing issues related to low resolution caused by dead volume.
Optimal reducing fittings are designed based on calculations of the diameter of the analytical tube and gas path, minimizing dead volume at connection points between the analytical tube and gas path.
Combines standard sample simulation sampling, thermal desorption, and analytical tube activation into one unit, providing comprehensive and cost-effective functionality.
