Analysis of FGF-BP1 (Human) by MSD Hypersensitive Multi-Factor Electrochemiluminescence Analyzer (CAT#: STEM-MB-0179-LGZ)

Introduction

FGFBP1 encodes a secreted fibroblast growth factor carrier protein. This encoded protein plays a crucial role in cell proliferation, differentiation, and migration, binds fibroblast growth factors, and enhances their biological effects on target cells. The encoded protein may also act as an angiogenic molecule in tumor growth, and expression of this gene has been linked to several cancers, including pancreatic and colorectal adenocarcinomas. A pseudogene of this gene is also located on the short arm of chromosome 4.




Principle

MSD electrochemiluminescence technology is mainly based on ultra-sensitive multi-factor electrochemiluminescence analyzer MES0 Sector600 or Quickplex SQ120. Through dot matrix technology, the detection of 10 indicators per well can be realized in the 96-hole graphite electrode plate. It can also be customized to realize the screening detection of 100 index wells in a 24-well plate.
