Analysis of ICAM-1 (Human) by MSD Hypersensitive Multi-Factor Electrochemiluminescence Analyzer (CAT#: STEM-MB-0261-LGZ)

Introduction

Intercellular Cell Adhesion Molecule-1 (ICAM-1) is a transmembrane protein with an amino-terminal extracellular domain, a single transmembrane domain, and a carboxy-terminal cytoplasmic domain. ICAM-1 plays an important role in promoting the adhesion of inflammatory sites, controlling tumor progression and metastasis, and regulating the body's immune response. Through specific binding to its receptors, it enhances the adhesion between leukocytes, inflammatory cells and tumor cells and endothelial cells, promotes the activation of endothelial cells, and makes it easier for them to penetrate the endothelium.
