Analysis of Urea (BUN) by Enzyme-labeled Instrument (CAT#: STEM-MB-1400-LGZ)

Introduction

Sensitivity: 0.09 mmol/L
Detection range: 0.28-35 mmol/L
Precision: inter-lot difference of 4.3%, intra-lot difference of 2.8%
Detection equipment: Enzyme-labeled Instrument
Detection wavelength: 565-595 nm

Principle

Urea decomposition under the action of urease to produce ammonium ion and carbon dioxide, ammonium ion and phenol derivatives in the alkaline medium to form a green substance, the substance production is proportional to the content of urea.

Applications

Used to detect urea content in serum (plasma), urine, saliva and milk samples.

Procedure

1. Prepare standard samples and experimental samples.
2. Add reaction reagents in order for reaction.
3. Measure the absorbance of each tube.
4. Make the mark curve and calculate the result.

Materials

• Sample Type: serum, plasma, urine, saliva and milk samples
