The Recombinant Human BFGF Protein (E.coli) manufactured by Seafrom is suitable for promoting cell proliferation, angiogenesis, and tissue repair. Basic Fibroblast Growth Factor (bFGF) is a member of the fibroblast growth factor family. There is evidence suggesting that bFGF can support the stem cell properties of undifferentiated human embryonic stem cells. It can also stimulate the proliferation of mesoderm-derived cells, ectoderm-derived cells, endoderm-derived cells, and neuroectodermal cells. In vitro, bFGF has chemotactic and mitogenic effects on endothelial cells and can promote neural differentiation, survival, and regeneration. It has been shown to be critically important in regulating embryonic development and differentiation, and it may play a role in modulating vascularization, tissue repair, embryonic development, and neuronal function in vivo. The lyophilized formulation can be stored at 2-8°C for 24 months. For reconstitution, it can be dissolved in injection-grade water, physiological saline, culture medium, or PBS. After dissolution, it should be divided into smaller aliquots and stored at -20°C for 6 months or at -80°C for 12 months, with a final concentration after dilution not lower than 100 μg/mL. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
