Analysis of H2S by Enzyme-labeled Instrument (CAT#: STEM-MB-1408-LGZ)

Introduction

Sensitivity: 2.75 μmol/L
Detection range: 4.86-100 μmol/L
Precision: inter-lot difference of 9.9%, intra-lot difference of 3.1%
Detection equipment: Enzyme-labeled Instrument
Detection wavelength: 660-670 nm

Principle

H2S can be absorbed by acetate solution to form ZnS precipitation. When dissolved in alkaline solution, stable methylene blue can be formed in the presence of Fe3+. The maximum absorption peak of methylene blue is 665nm, and the content of H2S can be calculated by measuring its absorption value.

Applications

It is suitable for detecting hydrogen sulfide in serum, plasma and animal tissue samples.

Procedure

1. Prepare standard samples and experimental samples.
2. Add reaction reagents in order for reaction.
3. Measure the absorbance of each tube.
4. Make the mark curve and calculate the result.

Materials

• Sample Type: serum, plasma and animal tissue samples
