Gene Expression Microarray use cDNA or oligonucleotide fragments as probes, which are cured on the microarrays. The mRNAs of the samples to be tested (treatment group) and the control samples are labeled with two different fluorescent molecules, and then hybridized with the microarrays simultaneously, and the changes in gene expression levels are detected by analyzing the ratio of the fluorescence intensity of the two samples hybridized with the probes.
