The Recombinant Human MSLN Protein manufactured by Seafrom is suitable for cancer biology and immunotherapy. Mesothelin (MSLN), also known as CAK1 antigen, is a member of the mesothelin family and functions as a pre-pro-megakaryocyte-potentiating factor. This protein can be proteolytically processed by a furin-like convertase into two chains: megakaryocyte-potentiating factor (MPF) and the cleaved form of mesothelin. Both MPF and the cleaved form of mesothelin undergo N-glycosylation, and mesothelin/MSLN can interact with muc16. The membrane-anchored form of MSLN may play a role in cell adhesion, while MPF can promote in vitro megakaryocytic colony formation. The lyophilized form can be stored at 4℃ for 24 months, and the reconstituted liquid can be stored at -20℃ for 6-12 months, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
