Tissue Microarray Preparation (CAT#: STEM-PET-0008-WXH)

Introduction

Tissue microarray (TMA) is a miniature tissue section in which dozens or hundreds of tissue specimens are neatly arranged on the same glass slide. At present, TMA has become an important tool for the rapid transformation of molecular genetics, genomics and proteomics research into clinical applications. It has the advantages of small size, large amount of information, high efficiency and low consumption, consistency of experimental conditions and good comparability of results. This technique is not only suitable for histomorphological observation, but also for immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization and other research.

Applications

• Cell Phenotyping
• Combined application with gene chips
• For new gene target screening
• Microscopic histology and pathology mapping
• Gene amplification analysis
• Antibody screening
• For individualized tumor therapy

Procedure

1.Paraffin embedding of samples
2.Tissue spotting (HE staining/blind spotting)
3.Microarray deployment/production
4.Section verification
