Analysis of α-L-Fucosidase (AFU) Acitivity by Enzyme-labeled Instrument (CAT#: STEM-MB-1486-LGZ)

Introduction

Sensitivity: 0.5 U/L
Detection range: 0.5 - 80 U/L
Precision: inter-lot difference of 8.4%, intra-lot difference of 3.7%
Detection equipment: Enzyme-labeled Instrument
Detection wavelength: 400-420 nm

Principle

α-L-fucosidase catalyzes the hydrolysis of colorless substrate nitrobenzene-α-L-fucoside to produce yellow nitrophenol, which has a significant absorption peak at 405 nm, and its absorbance is positively correlated with the content of nitrophenol produced. The activity of α-L-fucosidase can be calculated by measuring the absorbance at 405 nm wavelength.

Applications

It is used to detect the activity of alpha-L-fucosidase (AFU) in serum, plasma or animal tissue samples.

Procedure

1. Prepare standard samples and experimental samples.
2. Add reaction reagents in order for reaction.
3. Measure the absorbance of each tube.
4. Make the mark curve and calculate the result.

Materials

• Sample Type: serum, plasma or animal tissue samples
