Analysis of Nitric Oxide (NO) by Enzyme-labeled Instrument (CAT#: STEM-MB-1480-LGZ)

Introduction

Sensitivity: 1.38 μmol/L
Detection range: 1.38-40 μmol/L
Precision: inter-lot difference of 8%, intra-lot difference of 6%
Detection equipment: Enzyme-labeled Instrument
Detection wavelength: 520 - 550 nm

Principle

Nitric oxide (NO) has active chemical properties and is quickly metabolized into NO2- and NO3- in the body, while NO2- is further transformed into NO3-. This method uses nitrate reductase specifically to reduce NO3- to NO2-, and its concentration is determined by the color depth.

Applications

It was used to detect the content of NO in serum (plasma), urine, tissue, cells and cell supernatant.

Procedure

1. Prepare standard samples and experimental samples.
2. Add reaction reagents in order for reaction.
3. Measure the absorbance of each tube.
4. Make the mark curve and calculate the result.

Materials

• Sample Type: serum (plasma), urine, tissue, cells and cell supernatant
