Under alkaline conditions, sodium tetraphenylborate reacts with potassium ions in the liquid to be measured, forming white fine particles of potassium tetraphenylborate with small solubility, which is suspended in the solution and forms turbidized liquid, which is proportional to the concentration of potassium ions within a certain range.
Applications
Suitable for the determination of potassium content in serum (plasma), milk, animal tissues, cells and cell supernatant.
Procedure
1. Prepare standard samples and experimental samples. 2. Add reaction reagents in order for reaction. 3. Measure the absorbance of each tube. 4. Make the mark curve and calculate the result.
