Angiogenesis Signaling Pathway Assay (CAT#: STEM-MB-0309-WXH)

Introduction

Angiogenesis is defined as the physiological process of forming new blood vessels from pre-existing blood vessels. It is a key process that promotes development, skeletal muscle hypertrophy, menstruation, pregnancy, and wound healing, but can also cause pathological conditions, including neovascular diseases (such as retinopathy), rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, AIDS/Kab West Sarcoma and Cancer. Angiogenesis is a complex and highly ordered process that relies on endothelial cells (EC), their associated parietal cells (vascular smooth muscle cells [VSMC] and pericytes) and other cell types (such as immune cells) between and within Extensive signal network.

Principle

The angiogenesis signal pathway is regulated by many complementary and complex signal pathways existing in the human body. Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF)-vascular endothelial growth factor receptor (VEGFR), angiopoietin (Ang)-Tie2 axis and D114- The three complex and complementary signaling pathways of Notch can play an important role in regulating angiogenesis.
Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) is a family of proteins required for signaling pathways for angiogenesis. VEGF plays a central regulatory role in the process of angiogenesis and formation, and is a key stimulating factor for angiogenesis.

Applications

To study the regulation mechanism of angiogenesis signal pathway in disease
To study the effect of each virus on angiogenesis signaling pathway
To study the effects of drugs or therapies on angiogenesis signaling pathways

Procedure

• Luminex Multiplex Assay
• Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA)
• Flow cytometry (FACS analysis) technology
