Analysis of Chlorine (Cl) by Enzyme-labeled Instrument (CAT#: STEM-MB-1429-LGZ)

Introduction

Sensitivity: 1 mmol/L
Detection range: 1.0-60 mmol/L
Precision: inter-lot difference of 6.4%, intra-lot difference of 3.6%
Detection equipment: Enzyme-labeled Instrument
Detection wavelength: 440 nm-480 nm

Principle

The chloride ions in biological body fluids are replaced by the mercury ions in mercury thiocyanate, which generates mercury chloride which is difficult to dissociate, and the replaced thiocyanate ions combine with iron nitrate ions to form red complex. By colorimetric method, the chloride ion content of the sample can be calculated.

Applications

Apply to the content of chloride ions in animal tissue samples or serum plasma samples.

Procedure

1. Prepare standard samples and experimental samples.
2. Add reaction reagents in order for reaction.
3. Measure the absorbance of each tube.
4. Make the mark curve and calculate the result.

Materials

• Sample Type: animal tissue samples or serum, plasma samples
