Obesity Pathway Assay (CAT#: STEM-MB-0363-WXH)

Introduction

Obesity is a common group of metabolic disorders. When the body eats more calories than it consumes, the excess calories are stored in the body in the form of fat, and the amount exceeds the normal physiological needs and reaches a certain value, then it evolves into obesity. Previous studies have shown that obesity gene (ob) and leptin, uncoupling protein gene (ucp), hypothalamic appetite regulation network and other related factors all play an important role in the development of obesity.

Principle

Obesity induces chronic low-level inflammation, produces inflammatory factors and FFA to activate JNK signaling pathway in insulin target cells. The inflammatory factor TNFα binds to its receptor to activate the JNK signaling pathway, which in turn regulates the expression of the TNF gene to form a vicious circle.

Applications

Study the impact of each clinical virus on the obese signaling pathway
Research on the regulatory mechanism of obese signaling pathway in medicine

Procedure

• Luminex Multiplex Assay
• Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA)
• Flow cytometry (FACS analysis) technology
